|About Mrs. VP|
Mrs. Pogue grew up in the Seattle, WA area, but has made Sherwood her home. She attended university in British Columbia and received her BA in Intercultural Studies. She met her husband in Canada, who is a native Oregonian. The two of them set out for adventures in traveling the globe - from teaching English overseas in South Korea to backpacking Thailand, Guam, Japan, and Malaysia. She then attended George Fox University and received her Masters in Teaching and has been teaching Fifth Grade since! She has one darling son and another boy on the way - who will make his debut mid-November. When she is not teaching, you can find her spending time with her family, running, hiking, crafting, and exploring new places. She is thrilled about the opportunity to co-teach with Jenny Verkamp and looks forward to all the learning that this year has in store for her students!
Mrs. Verkamp grew up in Louisville, KY, but has made the Pacific Northwest home for her and her family.
